Winter Break and Spring Break
- The health center is closed for clinical services.
- Students may utilize local urgent cares, at their own expense.
Summer Break
- During summer, a nurse is available on a limited basis Tuesday through Thursday (9am -1pm) by appointment only.
- Phone messages and emails are regularly checked during the summer.
- Students may also utilize local urgent cares, at their own expense.
After Hours
- Call Campus Safety (telephone: 484-664-3112) or 911 (if you are off campus) for emergencies.
- Muhlenberg College EMS (telephone: 484-664-3112) is typically available fall and spring semester while classes are in session.
- Students may also utilize local urgent cares, at their own expense.
- After hours, students may also call the LVHN Nurse Triage Line (835-215-5475) for care advice.
Local Urgent Care Centers and Hospitals
Students are responsible for the cost of their medical care and for understanding their health insurance coverage & limitations. Students should check with their health insurance for participating in-network providers in the area. Students can also contact their insurance for possible telehealth services available through their insurance.
