Since 1952, the Alumni Association has annually honored individuals whose activities in life are a significant benefit to the College. Meet those who were nominated and awarded in 2019.
Your gifts make a significant impact and are deeply appreciated by students. Hear from two scholarship recipients who share what this support means to them and to their future.
Our treasured volunteers support us in many ways. Meet one alumna who provided eight weeks of instruction on strategy, design and marketing, and who really knows how to throw a party!
Zeta Beta Tau fraternity brothers welcomed Mike as a pledge. Today, they remember his friendship with The Michael T. Patino ’81 Memorial Scholarship.
Melissa wanted to return to campus and work where she could make a difference. Today, this staffer watches how her support translates to opportunities for students from the front row.
Welcome to Muhlenberg’s annual, online philanthropy report! It is amazing to see all of the good work accomplished this past fund year because of the generous gifts of time, mentorship and undying support that so many of you gave to each deserving student.
Although this report could be updated almost daily with compelling profiles of alumni, students and donors, consider this a brief snapshot of what occurred between July 1, 2018 and June 30, 2019. Everyone who made a gift to the College during that time is listed in one of the categories on the right.

Don’t miss reading the moving story of compassion for Mike Patino ’81, the dedication of alumna and volunteer Robyn Duda ’04, and the commitment of alumna and staff member Melissa Falk ’92.
Once again, Alumni Weekend, Mulementum, THAW, Mule Madness and Alumni Week set records for attendance, contributions and participation. These signature events are truly points of pride for Muhlenberg and prove just how willing fellow Mules are to come together when called upon to rally.
Other groups who consistently share their confidence in Muhlenberg include: parents, whose giving totaled $2.2 million to all designations; the 917 volunteers whose time equals $1.4 million in salaries, and; The Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Society, whose membership grew to over 735.
