Dr. Jim Tully has taught all levels of music in the Parkland School District for 18 years. He has experience teaching band, jazz band, chorus, orchestra, and general music/electives. Additionally, he has conducted pit orchestras at Parkland High School and Dieruff High School for over a decade. As a member of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association, he has prepared and sent students to elementary, intermediate, District, Region, and State festivals.

Dr. Tully earned his B.S.E in Music Education from Millersville University, M.S. in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University, M.S. Instructional Media from Wilkes University, M.M. in Conducting from Messiah University, and D.M.E in Music Education from Liberty University. At Liberty University, his research focused on teaching music to students with special needs.
