ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL PRE-MED OBSERVER PROGRAM
The Pre-Med Observer Program is designed to give exemplary students an opportunity to preview medicine for approximately twelve weeks through observations with residents, medical students, and staff physicians. Areas covered included Podiatry, Family Health Clinic, OB/GYN, Emergency Department, and Surgery. *
ST. LUKE'S HOSPITAL PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT SHADOW PROGRAM
The program is designed to give you an opportunity to observe the Physician Assistant in the physician's office, surgery, the clinic, and obstetrical areas prior to making a commitment to the profession. *
*Both programs must applied for through the Health Professions Advising Office. Academic credit is avaible.
LEHIGH VALLEY HEALTH NETWORK
Lehigh Valley Health Network offers a Research/Scholar program. Research scholars gain educational experience within their departments under the supervision of a mentor. You must have completed at least one year of college to apply.
GOOD SHEPHERD - PHYSICAL THERAPY
Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Hospital is a world-class rehabilitation facility. They offer the student an internship in physical therapy.
TEMPLE UNIVERSITY PODIATRY INTERNSHIP
Interns will attend workshops and seminars on podiatric medicine, shadow and work with podiatric physicians in the hospital, private practice and outpatient clinic settings, and work with a TUSPM student-doctor throughout the internship on a case presentation.
LEHIGH VALLEY ZOO
An internship with the Education Department at the Lehigh Valley Zoo is a competitive internship at an AZA accredited zoo.
