Joining an NPC-Affiliated Sorority
Alpha Chi Omega Fraternity, Delta Zeta Sorority, Phi Mu Fraternity, and Phi Sigma Sigma Fraternity are affiliated with the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC).The Formal Recruitment Week for these chapters occurs within the first three weeks of the fall semester.
NPC Formal Recruitment for Fall 2018 is to be determined.
it is highly recommended that women going through formal recruitment have a cumulative GPA of no less than 2.70 recorded at the end of the semester preceding Recruitment Week. If a woman’s GPA is lower than this number, she can expect to receive significantly fewer invitations than women with higher GPAs, or none at all. Some grade exemptions may be granted, but not many. Each sorority has its own academic cut-off established, and these vary as follows:
Alpha Chi Omega: 2.75
Delta Zeta: 2.70
Phi Mu: 2.75
Phi Sigma Sigma: 2.75
