Grade from Spring Semester

The financial assistance offered is only estimated until your Spring Semester grades are complete and are evaluated by the Office of Financial Aid.  Once that occurs, your financial aid will either be finalized or revised.  If it is revised, we will notify you via e-mail.  

Need Based Institutional and Federal Financial Assistance and Muhlenberg College Community Grant 

All students receiving institutional or federal need-based financial assistance or the Muhlenberg College Community Grant must be making Satisfactory Academic Progress.

Merit Based Scholarships (Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Scholarship, Presidential Merit Scholarship, Commitment to Excellence Scholarship) 

After the student’s first year, a 2.5 cumulative grade point average must be achieved in order to have the merit scholarship renewed.  After the sophomore year and after the junior year, the student must have a 3.0 cumulative grade point average.   

Honors Programs (Dana Scholars, Muhlenberg Scholars, RJ Fellows and Shankweiler Scholars) 

In order to maintain honors program scholarship, students must make academic progress in accordance with program G.P.A. specifications and continually meet standards of good campus citizenship and all honors program requirements. 

Pennsylvania State Grant 

All students receiving a  Pennsylvania State Grant will be evaluated prior to the Fall semester to ensure the correct number of classes has been earned and any additional requirements met to receive the state grant.
