Information for sponsoring Staff and Faculty
To balance the need for ease of access and security, the college is implementing a new guest wifi process.
Within the scope of Guest WiFi, a guest has a sponsoring individual or department, as their host. For example Conference Services, or a faculty member hosting colleagues from another institution, etc.
As the host, you are responsible for obtaining the current Guest WiFi instructions and providing them to your guests. This information is not public information and should not be posted on public web sites, etc. OIT will maintain a printable PDF containing guest WiFi instructions for you to provide to the guest. It will include an abbreviated terms of service statement and the wifi password. The password for WiFi access will change a few times a year at times of low campus activity.
To obtain the latest Guest WiFi information, please visit Staff / Student Tools from the OneLogin portal. From the Staff / Faculty Tools page, click the [ Guest Wifi Connection ] link. You can download and provide the PDF instructions to your guests electronically or in print form, include them in welcome packets, etc.
