Lehigh Valley Physician Group (LVPG) Family Medicine–Muhlenberg College provides many health care services. Those eligible for care are full-time traditional students who have completed their physical exam, immunization requirements and pre-admission history.
These services are administered by physicians, nurse practitioners and nurses.

Injury, Illness, and First Aid care
- Concussion screenings, blisters, corneal abrasions, bug bites, minor burns, ear flushes, eye exams, eye flushes, hot packs, suture and staple removal, splinter removal, sprains, strain, wound care, earaches, infections, allergies, cough, cold, flu, sore throat, sinus infections, urinary tract infections, abdominal pain
Wellness Visits
- Flu shots, tuberculosis testing, allergy injections, birth control, gynecological services, free STI testing, emergency contraception pills
Skin Conditions
- Fungal infections, cold sores, canker sores, impetigo, lice, rashes, poison, ringworm, scabies, shingles, wound care
Screening and Monitoring
- Blood pressure, blood sugar, weight checks
Gynecology Services
Clinical Laboratory Services
- Urine pregnancy tests, blood glucose, rapid flu, rapid strep, urinalysis, lab draws
Responsibility for Medical Care Costs
Students are responsible for the cost of their medical care and for understanding their health insurance coverage and limitations. Be sure to check with your health insurance for participating in-network providers in the area. You can also contact your insurance for possible telehealth services available through your insurance.
As a primary care practice, health center clinical services provided by LVPG Family Medicine–Muhlenberg College will be charged. Claims will be submitted to the student's health insurance on record and copays will be collected. Students will be responsible for deductibles, coinsurance, and other charges not paid by their health insurance. Students should contact their health insurance carrier to ask about their coverage at LVPG Family Medicine–Muhlenberg College.
