Profile of Advanced Graduate Trainee, Megan Baur posed in grassy outdoor setting.

Megan Baur (she/her/hers) is currently a graduate counseling trainee who aims to pursue professional licensure in Pennsylvania. She completed her B.S. in Psychology and is finishing up her M.A. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kutztown University. Megan is most interested in working with college students and young adults as they encounter life transitions and challenges on their paths to self-discovery and personal growth. She is committed to creating a warm, safe space where clients feel heard and supported as they explore and process their thoughts, feelings, and experiences.

Her approach to counseling includes insights from person-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapies. She believes there is no concern that is too big or too small a reason to seek therapy, and striving to learn about and honor the diverse stories, perspectives, and cultures of clients is of the utmost importance for Megan. Outside of the counseling room, she enjoys spending time with friends and loves to re-energize at home with a book in hand and a cat on her lap.
