Advanced Graduate Trainee
Jinghui (Cheng) is pursuing a Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Lehigh University. She earned her Bachelor of Management from Tsinghua University. Prior to her graduate studies, Jinghui gained three years of valuable industry experience.
Jinghui's counseling approach is influenced by psychodynamic and feminist theories, grounded in person-centered therapy. She values lived experiences and believes it’s essential to understand each person holistically.
As a queer woman of color, Jinghui possesses a deep awareness of the challenges faced by underrepresented groups. She believes that her position carries a responsibility for critical awareness and social justice. While Jinghui feels privileged to assist anyone seeking her help, she has a particular interest in working with LGBTQ+ individuals, people of color, women, and international students. She provides counseling services in English, Mandarin, and Korean. Beyond her counseling career, Jinghui aspires to become a documentary filmmaker.
