Ilia is a bilingual Licensed Professional Counselor that has experience working with clients of all ages, helping them to overcome life’s challenges. She has a B.A. in Psychology from the University of Puerto Rico, a M.A. and Ph.D. in Kinesiology with a minor in Educational Psychology from the University of Minnesota, and a M.A. in Clinical Counseling from Moravian University. One of her favorite quotes is "Make every day your masterpiece", as it challenges her to seek meaningul experiences every day.
Ilia uses an eclectic approach that integrates different methods. The techniques used are tailored to meet each client's unique needs and circumstances. She works to help clients understand the causes of their concerns and is committed to make their journey as meaningful as possible, collaborating to set realistic and attainable goals, and identifying coping strategies that will help create lasting change.
