Muhlenberg Athletic Hall of Fame Inducts Six Individuals and One Team

The athletes were honored on Saturday, April 15.

Six individuals and one team were inducted into the Muhlenberg College Athletic Hall of Fame on Saturday, April 15. Taking their place among the College's all-time greats were (pictured left to right, above):
  • Peter Bennett '08, an All-America goalie in soccer and starter on two NCAA Tournament teams
  • Dave Madeira, the winningest coach in Muhlenberg men's basketball history
  • Tim Schmidlin '93, an All-America back in soccer and member of four NCAA Tournament teams
  • Jennifer Lynch '10, a three-time NCAA qualifier in track and field and three-year starter in soccer
  • Mike Hiller '82, a three-year all-star in baseball and a record-setting kicker and wide receiver in football
  • Matt Rathbun '09, an All-America linebacker and leading tackler on two conference championship teams

The 1980 baseball team (above) also was inducted. The Mules won the MAC South championship and defeated nationally ranked Johns Hopkins in the playoffs.
