The race for Pennsylvania’s 7th District is expected to be very close this fall — and could determine party control of the House of Representatives. On October 6, the candidates for that seat, Republican Lisa Scheller and Democrat Susan Wild, met for their first debate on the Seegers Union Event Space stage on Muhlenberg's campus.

The program will be broadcast in two parts on CH69 WFMZ-TV, with the first half shown at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 10, and the second half at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, October 17.
