Muhlenberg College to Host Family Weekend

Muhlenberg College will host its annual Family Weekend from Friday, October 28 through Sunday, October 30.

Family Weekend is designed so that students’ families can experience some of the elements of a Muhlenberg College education, take part in a weekend full of activities, explore the campus, and, of course, enjoy a family visit.  For more information, please contact the Office of Student Life, (484) 664-3657.    

All events are free unless otherwise indicated.  The schedule is as follows:

Friday, October 28

  1. Noon - 8 p.m. Information Center (Lobby, Seegers Union)
  2. Noon - 8 p.m. Class of 2012 Auction (Rooms 108/109/110, Seegers Union)
  3. 4 p.m. - 4:45 p.m. “Career Choices: Planning Ahead for Life After Muhlenberg” (Miller Forum, Moyer Hall)
  4. 7 p.m. Field Hockey vs. Ursinus (Scotty Wood Stadium)
  5. 8 p.m. Hillel Shabbat Services Join us for student-led Reform and Conservative Shabbat Services followed by a relaxed, informal Oneg in our new house. (Hillel House)
  6. 8 p.m. “Merrily We Roll Along” “How did you get to be here? What was the moment?” Stephen Sondheim turns the traditional showbiz musical on its head, in this compelling Broadway fable about friendship, compromise, and the high price of success. (Paul C. Empie Theatre, Baker Center for the Arts)
  7. 8 p.m. Student Talent Show (Dorothy Hess Baker Theatre, Trexler Pavilion)
  8. 8 p.m. - midnight Free Photo Snow Globes and Pucker Powder (Lobby, Seegers Union)
