Muhlenberg Announces Faculty Promotions, Tenure

Muhlenberg College is pleased to announce the following faculty members have been awarded tenure by the Board of Trustees.

Dr. Keri Colabroy has been awarded tenure and been promoted to associate professor of chemistry.  Colabroy earned her B.S. at Messiah College and her M.S. and Ph.D. at Cornell University.

Dr. Steven Coutinho has been awarded tenure and been promoted to associate professor of philosophy.  Coutinho earned his B.A. and M.Phil. at the University of London and his Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii, Manoa.

Amze Emmons has been awarded tenure and been promoted to associate professor of art.  Emmons earned his B.F.A. at Ohio Wesleyan University and his M.F.A. at The University of Iowa.

Dr. Hartley Lachter has been awarded tenure and been promoted to associate professor of religion studies.  Lachter earned his B.A. and M.A. at McGill University and his Ph.D. at New York University.

Dr. Paul McEwan has been awarded tenure and been promoted to associate professor of media and communication.  McEwan earned his B.A. at University of Guelph, his B.Ed. at University of Western Ontario, his M.A. at Wilfrid Laurier University and his Ph.D. at Northwestern University.

Dr. Jefferson Pooley has been awarded tenure and been promoted to associate professor of media and communication.  Pooley earned his B.A. at Harvard University and his M.A. and Ph.D. at Columbia University.
