Muhlenberg College Elects Three New Trustees
Muhlenberg College has elected three new members of its Board of Trustees.Tuesday, June 22, 2010 11:45 AM
Gerald Galgano ’80 P ’11 P ‘14, Arthur Scavone ’81 and Beatrice O’Donnell P ’10 were elected to three year terms that begin July 1. The announcement was made by Board Chair Richard F. Brueckner ’71 P ’04 P‘10. The announcement was made following a recent meeting of the College’s Board of Trustees.

Galgano is President of Hilliard Farber and Company in New York, N.Y. He is currently a member of the College’s Board of Observers, and he is a member of the Henry Melchior Muhlenberg Society (HMMS). Galgano resides in Basking Ridge, N.J., with his wife Carol. They have five daughters, including Kristen, a member of the Class of 2011, and Susan, a member of the Class of 2014.
Scavone is a lawyer and Partner in the firm White & Case in New York City. He is the Global Head of the firm’s Energy, Infrastructure, and Project Finance Group. He is currently a member of the Board of Observers and is also a member of HMMS. He resides in New York, N.Y., with his wife Anne. They have two children.
O’Donnell is a Partner with Duane Morris, LLP, a Philadelphia-based law firm. She is currently a member of the Board of Observers, an HMMS member and former Chair of the Parents Council. Her daughter, Carolina Millard, is a member of the Class of 2010. O’Donnell resides in Ambler, Pa., with her husband Kevin Canavan.
