'Berg to Recieve the Joseph D. Daddona-Dedication Award
Muhlenberg College has received the Joseph S. Daddona - Dedication Award for its contributions to the Allentown community over the years.Tuesday, April 13, 2010 00:23 PM
The College will be presented this award at the Allentown Chamber of Commerce Annual Dinner on Wednesday, May 12, at The Holiday Inn, Center City Allentown. The award presentation recognizes the invaluable legacy left by former Mayor Joseph S. Daddona. The awards are presented to organizations and individuals that exemplify his spirit and legacy in the following categories: New Commitment, Dedication, and Good Neighbor.
Scholarships will also be awarded to one outstanding high school senior from William Allen, Central Catholic and Dieruff High Schools. These seniors will have demonstrated academic ability and a commitment to learning, achievement, and community service. The scholarship assists young men and women in their pursuit of higher education at an accredited two or four-year College or University. The concentration of their continuing education in a business related field is preferred.
