‘Berg Hires New Marketing & Development Manager for the Department of Theatre & Dance
Emmaus resident Scott Snyder has been hired to be the new marketing and development manager for the department of theatre and dance at Muhlenberg College. Snyder replaces Marilyn Roberts, who is retiring after serving the College in this capacity for over 20 years.Friday, March 12, 2010 00:23 PM
Snyder replaces Marilyn Roberts, who is retiring after serving the College in this capacity for over 20 years. Snyder brings a wealth of experience in the marketing and development fields, both in the arts and in higher education. He most recently worked at Lehigh University as director of alumni communication. Prior to that, he was the managing director of the Civic Theatre of Allentown. At the Civic, he expanded the theatre's marketing efforts and increased attendance by 40%, doubled the subscription base, produced or supervised all of web and print materials and coordinated successful fundraising efforts from government agencies, foundations and private patrons.
Snyder is a graduate of Syracuse University, where he graduated summa cum laude with honors in English.
