History Professor Mark Stein will lead a talk-back after the film.  The event, held on February 21 at 7 p.m. in the Great Room, Seegers Union, is free and open to the public.  A reception will follow.

Directed by Serif Gören and Yilmaz Günay, Yol is a harsh portrayal of life in Turkey after the 1980 military coup, focusing on a group of prisoners who are granted a week-long release to return home to visit their families and confront the changes that have occurred while they have been in prison.

Alternate Voices from the Middle East is a semester-long series co-sponsored by the Muhlenberg College Center for Ethics and the Faculty Humanities Seminar.
