Assistant Dean Named At The Wescoe School Of Muhlenberg College

Gregg Scully has been named Assistant Dean of The Wescoe School of Muhlenberg College.

This promotion was effective September 1. In this role, he will oversee admissions and enrollment functions and focus on program development and quality initiatives.

With the Dean of The Wescoe School, Scully will develop course schedules and manage and hire adjunct faculty. In addition, he will continue to advise students and coordinate Wescoe’s degree program in Business Administration/Healthcare Management.

Scully first joined The Wescoe School in 2004 as an academic advisor. Most recently, he served as Wescoe's Director of Admissions & Enrollment. Previous to that, he worked at the Muhlenberg College Trexler Library for a year, transitioning to higher education after a nearly 20-year career in healthcare/human services administration. Scully is also an adjunct instructor at Cedar Crest College where he teaches English and Writing courses. He has an undergraduate degree in English and a graduate degree in American Studies. Scully is an active member of the Lehigh Valley Latino Leadership Alliance’s Education Committee.

In making the announcement, Wescoe’s Dean Jane Hudak, M. Ed. said, "Gregg’s many years of experience and contacts in the field of Healthcare Administration have been instrumental in shepherding our new program in Healthcare Management. His passion for students is evident as are his contributions to the quality of our programs. We have been very fortunate to have Gregg onboard as a member of our team.”

Scully and his wife, Marie, reside in Allentown.
