On April 1, there will be a showcase of the donations in Miller Forum, Moyer Hall, from 11 a.m. – 5 p.m. Set up like a boutique, shoppers can come in and peruse the selection and enlist the help of a Muhlenberg student in selecting an outfit.
Area groups such as Casa Guadalupe, Boys & Girls Club, Caring Place, Communities and Schools, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Impact, Cuna, St. Lukes Neighborhood Center, Pinebrook, Allen High School, Harrison Morton Middle School and Trexler Middle School.have been invited to attend and select ensembles for their upcoming proms and formal dances.
Along with the “shopping,” the day also consists of door prizes, a catered lunch and a DJ. Student volunteers will help those who attend put outfits together.
Dress Upon A Star, a club comprised of 20 campus women, have collected approximately 400 dresses, as well as an assortment of shoes, costume jewelry and other accessories.
