Muhlenberg College Hosts "Camp Imagine!"
For the sixth consecutive year, Muhlenberg College hosts Camp Imagine!, a unique summer arts camp program designed for urban middle-school students who are interested in the performing arts.Friday, July 14, 2006 01:59 PM
This 4-week camp, taught by Muhlenberg students, meets Monday through Friday mornings on the College’s campus, with rotating classes in acting, dance, and music.
Camp Imagine! culminates in a public showcase where the students have the opportunity to perform the pieces they have been crafting for an audience. This year’s showcase will be held on Saturday, July 22 at 10:30 a.m. in Empie Theatre, Muhlenberg College. The event is free and open to the public.
Registration for Camp Imagine! is free for students attending schools in the Allentown School District, and a limited number of paid registrations are available for other area students.
Camp Imagine! is sponsored by through the support of area corporations and foundations, including Kraft Foods, Air Products and Chemicals, Inc., Binney & Smith, Inc., Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, Keystone Nazareth Charitable Foundation, and The Ruth P. Seruga Trust.
