Muhlenberg College Announces New Appointments In Career Center And Office Of Development And Alumni Relations

Muhlenberg College announces four new hires in the career center and office of development and alumni relations.

Lauren M. Shanahan, who has served as the College’s Director of Alumni Relations since 2002, has been named a Major Giving Officer. Shanahan is a 1987 graduate of Muhlenberg College, where she earned her B.A. in communication and business administration. As a student at Muhlenberg, Shanahan served as president of the Class of 1987 and was a head resident advisor.

Traci Falco has been named director of alumni relations. She has served as the assistant director of alumni relations since 2004. Falco is a 1992 graduate of Muhlenberg College, where she majored in psychology and earned teaching certification in elementary education. As a student, Falco was president of the Muhlenberg Activities Council.

Kellie Provost-Brown has been named director of the College’s Career Center, formerly the Office of Career Development and Placement (OCDP). She was hired as the assistant director of the OCDP in September 2003. Previously, she had served in human resources positions for eleven years, most recently at General Electric. She holds a B.A. from the Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from DeSales University.

Cailin Pachter, who has been with the College since 1999, will serve as assistant director of the Career Center. Pachter previously served in career advising at the University of Maryland and Kentuckiana Metroversity, Louisville. She earned a B.A. at Lehigh University and an M.A. in community counseling at Eastern Kentucky University.
