Marathon Reading Of The Iliad To Be Held At Muhlenberg College

On Monday, November 20, Muhlenberg College’s History and the Homeric Epic class, taught my President Randy Helm, will host a marathon reading of Homer's "Iliad" in Seegers Union, Room 110.

The “Iliad” will be read in half-hour blocks, with four readers per block. The reading will begin at 8:30 a.m. and will continue until finished, at approximately midnight.  Light refreshment will be served throughout the day.

Students, faculty and staff will read in half-hour blocks, with four readers per block. 
           
This is the fourth consecutive year that the College has hosted marathon readings of Homer’s work. “Odyssey” marathon took place in the fall of 2003 and 2005, and last fall, there was a marathon reading of the “Iliad.”
