‘Berg's Best Buddies Chapter Sponsors Earth Day Picnic
Muhlenberg College’s Chapter of Best Buddies will host a dance on Saturday, February 25, in Miller Forum, Moyer Hall, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.Friday, February 24, 2006 01:59 PM
Members from Best Buddies chapters from Lehigh and DeSales Universities will also attend. Muhlenberg’s Step Team and the Dynamics, the College’s co-ed a capella group, will provide the entertainment. Founded in 1989 by Anthony K. Shriver, Best Buddies is a vibrant, international organization that has grown from one original chapter to more than 1,000 middle school, high school and college campuses across the country and internationally. The organization is active in each of the 50 United States, and operates accredited international programs in Australia, Canada, Colombia, Cuba, Egypt, Ghana, Hong Kong, Ireland, Kenya, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Philippines, Scotland, Sweden and the United Arab Emirates; with additional country programs in various phases of development.
