Muhlenberg College Celebrates Egner Chapel's 75th Anniversary
On Saturday, October 8 at 7 p.m., the Gideon F. Egner Memorial Chapel will host an organ recital as part of its 75th Anniversary celebration.Tuesday, September 20, 2005 01:59 PM
The event is free and open to the public. The recital will feature College Organist Stephen Williams playing works by each of his three predecessors, Harold K. Marks, Ludwig Lenel and Charles McClain, who served the College during the last 75 years. One of the works Williams will play was performed at the Chapel’s dedication on June 1, 1931. He will also be playing original compositions.
