Muhlenberg College Art Professor Scott Sherk will exhibit Steel Solitudes, a work of sculpture and drawings, at the Kim Foster Gallery in New York City from January 8, 2005 until February 5, 2005.
Steel Solitudes is inspired by Pierre Hadot’s book “Plotinus or the Simplicity of Vision” and the music of Al Jackson Jr.
Sherk is head of the College’s art department and has won artists’ grants from the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts. He has exhibited widely and has constructed many installations throughout New York.
