‘Berg Sponsors “Athletics For A Cure”
The Muhlenberg College athletic department will sponsor a new event called "Athletics For A Cure," on Saturday, October 22, from 9pm-11pm in the Life Sports Center.Thursday, October 20, 2005 01:59 PM
All of the proceeds from this event will be combined with the proceeds from the College’s annual "Dance For A Cure" (to be held the night before) and donated to: The Women's 5K Classic, The American Sickle Cell Association and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
Athletics for a Cure will include a slam-dunk contest, a three-point shooting contest, a hot-shot competition, games, raffles, food and a shoot-off between the men’s and women’s basketball teams.
The event is open to the public. Donations will be taken at the door.
