Muhlenberg To Honor Chamber, Iannelli, Entrepreneurial Students

Muhlenberg College will hold its annual Entrepreneurial Awards luncheon on Tuesday, April 15, in Miller Forum, Moyer Hall. A student project fair will begin at 11:30 a.m. The luncheon and awards will follow at 12:30 p.m. The award ceremony is not open to the public. The ceremony will recognize this year’s Entrepreneurial Studies Program student award recipients. This year marks the 11th anniversary of Muhlenberg’s outstanding Entrepreneurial Studies Program.
Tony Iannelli, president of the Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce, will accept the Distinguished Entrepreneur of the Year award on behalf of the Chamber. The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to improving the economy and quality of life in the Lehigh Valley. The organization espouses the principles of free enterprise and promotes business interests to Government and the general community.
The Greater Lehigh Valley Chamber is the second largest Chamber in the state of Pennsylvania. Under Iannelli’s leadership, it has forged alliances with other Chambers of Commerce, and now includes the East Penn Business Council, the Bethlehem Area Chamber of Commerce, the Executive Women's Council, the Northampton Chamber of Commerce and the Hellertown Chamber of Commerce. This alliance provides a forum for large-scale events, greatly increased networking opportunities and a larger voice in local, state and federal legislative issues.
