Dr. Paul Frary Named 'Berg Department Chair For Accounting, Business And Economics

Dr. Paul Frary has been named Chair of theDepartment of Accounting, Business and Economics at Muhlenberg College. Frary has been a professor at Muhlenberg since 1990.
This will be Frary’s second stint as department chair. He was head of the department from August 1990 through January 1995 and then returned to his classroom duties. He is replacing Dr. George Heitmann, who will remain Dean of International Programs.
Interim Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of the College for Faculty Marjorie Hass made the announcement regarding Frary.
Frary is a graduate of Baker University in Kansas. He received his Master’s Degree from Kansas State University at Emporia, and his Ph.D. from the Sam A. Walton College of Business and Economics at the University of Arkansas. Prior to his arrival at Muhlenberg College, Frary was Chair and Professor of Economics and Business at Westminster College in western Pennsylvania. He also taught at Marshall University in West Virginia, the University of Arkansas, Southwestern College in Kansas, and Polytechnic University of London.
Frary is a member numerous professional associations including the Academy of Management, Omicron Delta Epsilon and Omicron Delta Kappa, a national leadership fraternity.
Founded in 1848, Muhlenberg College is a private, Lutheran-affiliated, highly selective, liberal arts college in Allentown, Pa.
