Community Discussion On "Claiming Our Space" At Muhlenberg

Allentown community leaders will take part in “Claiming Our Space,” a panel discussion of current issues within the Latino community, Tuesday, January 28, 7 p.m., in Egner Memorial Chapel, Muhlenberg College. The discussion is free and open to the public.
Participants include Wanda Mercado-Arroyo, parental involvement coordinator for the Allentown School District; Julio Guridy, Allentown City Council member; and Edgar Sandoval, Latino and urban affairs reporter for the Morning Call. Anna Adams, associate professor of history at Muhlenberg College, will serve as moderator.
The discussion is sponsored by Muhlenberg’s Office of Multicultural Life and Comunidad Latina.
