Allentown Mayoral hopefuls Roy Afflerbach and Bob Lovett will participate in a Candidate Forum at Muhlenberg College, Tuesday, October 23, 7 p.m., in the Miller Forum, Moyer Hall.
Bob Wittman of the Morning Call will moderate the panel. Education, crime and drugs, economic development, the student overlay ordinance, and the community's relationship with Muhlenberg students are among the issues to be discussed. Each candidate will give a five-minute opening statement, and will then answer questions regarding the issues. The audience will have the opportunity to ask questions after the candidates' closing statements.
The debate is free and open to the public.
