Muhlenberg College is pleased to announce that Maureen D. Walz has joined the staff of the Office of Career Development and Placement. Walz will begin her duties as assistant director on November 26.
Walz received her B.S. in business administration from Rider University and her master's of education in student affairs in higher education from Kutztown University. She comes to the College from Kidspeace in Orefield, Pa., where she served as manager of recruitment. She has also worked as personnel coordinator and assistant to the director for KPMG LLP in Montvale, N.J., and has held internship positions in Muhlenberg's student activities and evening college offices.
Walz's responsibilities at Muhlenberg will include marketing, employer liaison relationships, programs and/or workshops provided by the office. Walz will advise both students and alumni with issues involving career options, choice of major, internship and job search, as well as graduate school applications.
