Muhlenberg's Master's in Medical Leadership program aims to equip you with the necessary knowledge and skills to lead and motivate colleagues across the organization. Duration
The program consists of ten courses, each running for eight weeks. Students can anticipate completing the program in 24 months.
During the program, students will develop and enhance their understanding of strong and ethical management and leadership practices as well as develop and enhance their systemic understanding of healthcare delivery in organizations, markets, and policies.
Each course in the Medical Leadership Program costs $1,175 per credit hour or $4,700 per course. Tuition includes all books, technology fees and other course-related costs. The master's in medical leadership program is comprehensive and inclusive, providing training in organizational leadership, solutions and systems development, and operations management to a wide range of healthcare professionals, including physicians, clinicians, nurses, industry leaders, allied health professionals, and administrators.
With this program, students will develop an in-depth understanding of the breadth of the healthcare system and gain the skills and knowledge they need to lead teams, optimize the effectiveness and efficiency of their organizations, and enhance the patient experience and outcomes as they progress in their careers.
The program is designed to develop business skills to take on leadership and administrative positions while advancing their careers and increasing their competitiveness for leadership roles. Applicants should have an advanced degree and have at least two years of healthcare experience or requisite work experience. Applicants without an advanced degree should have five years of clinical operations experience.
