Teaching Interests
I enjoy teaching applied mathematics courses, where I hope to develop students into confident and competent problem solvers. My courses have practical projects in which students model and solve situations involving rates of change.
Research, Scholarship or Creative/Artistic Interests
My research covers a broad range of topics, including connecting calculus to Gothic architecture, developing interactive lively applications projects (ILAPs), using differential equations and modeling and predicting rare events in baseball using sabermetrics (the statistical analysis of baseball records).
