Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC)
The Animal Welfare Act (Public Law 89-544, as amended) and other applicable laws regulating Muhlenberg College require that the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) review and approve the use of animals in all experiments, tests, investigations, and demonstrations.
If you are planning to use any vertebrate animal subject for any purpose either in a classroom or in a research laboratory – please notify the membership of IACUC by filling out the webform below. You will be contacted by the Chair of the Committee within one week of submitting this form. Depending on the nature of the use requested, you may also be required to complete an IACUC Animal Research Form (IARF) and undergo formal review and approval.
