    Ugly Freedoms: Public talk by Elisabeth Anker

    Freedom is the highest ideal in American politics, but its legacy is complex. This talk will examine the ugliness of freedom, but will also highlight visions of freedom that emphasize the flourishing of all people. Anker is an associate professor of American studies and political science & director of the Film Studies Program at The George Washington University. This event is co-sponsored by Center for Ethics & the Political Science Department's Election Series.
