As a statistics major, you'll have numerous opportunities to apply your skills beyond the classroom.

Whether participating in Research Experiences for Undergraduates (REUs), securing internships, attending summer institutes in biostatistics and data science, or collaborating on research with faculty, you’ll be encouraged to explore areas that match your interests and pique your curiosity.

Additionally, our interdisciplinary approach allows you to connect statistics with other fields of study. As a statistics major, you will also complete a comprehensive statistical analysis project during your Capstone Undergraduate Experience (CUE), allowing you to showcase your expertise from start to finish.
