Pitch 1: Eco-Friendly Bamboo Water Bottles
- Introduction: "I'm Alex, and I'm here to introduce you to Aqua Bamboo, the stylish, sustainable water bottle that keeps you hydrated while helping the planet."
- Value Proposition: "Aqua Bamboo offers a unique blend of sustainability and design, providing an eco-friendly alternative to single-use plastics. Our bottles are not only better for the environment but also add a touch of elegance to your daily hydration."
- Problem & Solution: "Single-use plastic bottles are a massive environmental issue. Aqua Bamboo addresses this problem by offering durable, eco-friendly bamboo bottles, significantly reducing plastic waste and promoting sustainability."
- Business Model: "We sell directly to consumers through our website and partner with eco-conscious retailers. Our unique designs and commitment to sustainability drive sales and customer loyalty."
- Market Size & Potential: "The reusable water bottle market is booming, with a growing demand for sustainable products. We've seen a 30% growth in sales each quarter and are expanding into new markets."
- Financials & Ask: "We're seeking $200,000 for a 10% stake in the company. With your investment, we'll scale production, increase marketing, and enter international markets."
Pitch 2: Smart Home Security System
- Introduction: "Hi, I'm Jamie, and I'm excited to present Secure Smart, the most advanced and user-friendly home security system on the market."
- Value Proposition: "Secure Smart revolutionizes home security by offering a simple, integrated solution that combines advanced technology with ease of use. Our system provides peace of mind without the complexity of traditional security setups."
- Problem & Solution: "Home security is a top concern for many, but existing systems are often complex and outdated. Secure Smart addresses this by providing a user-friendly, powerful system that integrates seamlessly with your smart home."
- Business Model: "We offer a subscription-based model with a one-time hardware purchase. Our recurring revenue comes from monthly monitoring fees, and we're expanding into smart home integrations."
- Market Size & Potential: "The smart home market is projected to reach $170 billion by 2025. With our innovative approach, we've already secured partnerships with major home automation brands."
- Financials & Ask: "We're seeking $300,000 for a 15% equity stake. Your investment will help us launch our next-generation product line and expand our customer base."
Good luck, you will have 3 minutes to pitch your idea and will have several opportunities to practice at the Innovation and Entrepreneurship center at Fahy Commons. In addition you can join us at the upcoming training series: “1st Steps to Starting Your Business Express” Starting on 9/5 from 5 pm to 6 pm that you can attend.
