When you graduate with an English literatures degree, you will have learned to write clearly and persuasively, read analytically and think creatively. These are highly sought skills in today’s job market.
Our graduates secure jobs in diverse professions including as lawyers, doctors, entrepreneurs, teachers, CEOs, administrators, communications experts, marketers, librarian assistants and more. Recent graduates have taken roles at companies and organizations including ArtsQuest, Eastern Connecticut State University, Fairfax Community Library, Fulbright U.S. Student Program, Gwynedd Mercy University, Hearst Magazines, Magic Theatre, Temple Shalom of Newton and United Way.
Many graduates pursue advanced degrees in publishing, law, business and other fields. Recent Muhlenberg alumni have enrolled at institutions including Columbia University, Marquette University, Northwestern University, University of Denver, University of Pennsylvania, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Villanova University.
