A creative writing degree equips you to write clearly and persuasively, think critically and act creatively. These capacities for effective communication, critical analysis and creative problem-solving are highly desired by today’s employers.
Our graduates pursue jobs as teachers, entrepreneurs, communications specialists, lawyers, administrators, marketers, librarian assistants and more. Recent grads have obtained roles at a wide variety of organizations including ArtsQuest, Eastern Connecticut State University, Fairfax Community Library, Fulbright U.S. Student Program, Gwynedd Mercy University, Hearst Magazines, Magic Theatre and United Way.
Other graduates have chosen to pursue advanced degrees in publishing, law, business and other fields. Recent Muhlenberg alumni have enrolled at institutions including Columbia University, Marquette University, Northwestern University, University of Denver, University of Pennsylvania, University of Wisconsin-Madison and Villanova University.
