Assistant Director, Career Coaching & Education
Sara joined the Muhlenberg Career Center team in 2021 as an Assistant Director for Career Coaching & Education. She is not a stranger to the Lehigh Valley, having graduated from Moravian College with a B.A. in English with a Writing Arts Certificate. She then earned her M.Ed. in Student Affairs in Higher Education from Kutztown University. She has previously held multiple different roles at various other institutions, from community colleges to private liberal arts. Her career is driven by the desire to inspire and guide others, just as her own mentors in higher education have done for her. She is passionate about helping students discover their potential and supporting them in building meaningful and successful careers.
In August 2022, she published her first poetry book "Forestbound" (available on Amazon!) which centers on themes of nature and a desire to return to the natural world. Aside from her work in higher education, she is a dog mom to a pug named Sokka, professional Swiftie sleuth, amateur baker, and local karaoke star. She welcomes any opportunity to chat about Friends, Schitt’s Creek, or Gilmore Girls!
