Clearances Required by Public Schools

The Pennsylvania Department of Education, Act 114 of 2006, Section 111 of the Public School Code (amended April 1, 2007) requires that ALL student teachers and fieldwork students must provide the public school building administrators current (less than one year old) copies of the following:

Pennsylvania State Criminal History Background Check - PATCH -Act 34
Child Abuse History Clearance - Act 151
Federal Criminal History - Act 114 (fingerprinting)
Tuberculin Test
