Abby Wiener has been an instructor of Jewish studies, Hebrew language and literature in both formal and informal settings. At Muhlenberg she teaches the elementary and intermediate levels of Hebrew, as well as a course in Hebrew Literature in Translation. Professor Wiener has also taught at the Florence Mellon Adult Mini School and the Jewish Day School of the Lehigh Valley. She has volunteered in her synagogue, in the Allentown community and for R.I.S.E., the Easter Seal horseback-riding program for handicapped children.
