Recipient’s Responsibilities
Once a scholarship is awarded, it is the recipient’s responsibility to maintain the scholarship requirements listed above. The recipient must apply for financial aid each year. The recipient must meet prior to each semester with a Wescoe School academic advisor to review the requirements and discuss academic progress. If the recipient continues to meet the requirements, the scholarship award will be in effect for the duration of the student’s program (i.e. until the student completes his/her associate or bachelor degree). Should the student’s enrollment fall below the required 4 courses per year, or the grade point average fall below the required 2.5, the student will become ineligible for the scholarship. The student would then need to reapply for the scholarship for the next academic year. Renewal of eligibility is not guaranteed under these circumstances.
