The Last Lecture is part of the Senior Celebration held on Thursday, May 14, 2009.

"Minding the Collective: On Rewiring
Yourself to the World"

Dr. Jeremy Teissere, Assistant Professor of Biology & Neuroscience and Director, Neuroscience Program will deliver the Last Lecture to the Class of 2009.  Students consistently described Dr. Teissere as an outstanding mentor, someone who relates well to all students, having great insights, stimulating, encouraging...but at the same time realistic.

RSVP in the Student Life Office to
join the Class of 2009 for the Last Lecture!

Seniors - Thank you for sending in your thoughtful nominations     to help make your Senior Celebration a truly memorable and fabulous event.

Members of the Class of 2009 nominated faculty members from   18 different acacemic departments.  Clearly, since there are 18 academic departments, Muhlenberg has excellence in teaching campus wide.  Students wrote:

"He is able to ignite a passion for learning in all of his students."

"She is an amazing professor ... she broadens your mind, and she tells you what you need to hear and not what you want to hear."

"His class is not merely 'a class' but rather a lesson in intellectual self-discovery."

"She inspires broad perspectives and creative thinking."
