Multicultural Life Peer Mentor Program
The mission of the peer mentor program is to introduce incoming students to Multicultural Life and the Muhlenberg community. The program is structured to offer students from underrepresented populations, opportunities to explore the wide spectrum of social and academic experiences at Muhlenberg. A peer mentor will be paired with an incoming student in order to ease their transition into campus life and to develop a network of support.
Who are Peer Mentors?
Mentors are dedicated, upper-class students of diverse backgrounds who wish to share their knowledge and experience of campus life to help mentees integrate into the Muhlenberg community. All mentors are in good academic standing, are active participants in Multicultural Affairs, and engage in many campus activities and programs throughout the year. Each mentor is willing to meet and spend time with their mentee in order to develop positive relationships and a sense of community.
