The Muhlenberg women came in third and the men fifth - both improving from last year - at the Centennial Conference Championships. Senior Lexie Daniells (left) ran on two relay teams that placed in the top five. Junior Andy Wolfe (right) was one of four Mules to finish in the top five in the javelin.

Jim Gamrat Claire Thornton May 4: Discus throwers, women's 4x800 shine at CC meet
Senior Jim Gamrat (left) placed in the discus at the Centennial Conference Championships for the third straight year, coming in a career-best fifth. Freshman Claire Thornton (right) helped the women's 4x800 relay team win a silver medal and set a school record.

Senior Ryan Hellings (right) duplicated his indoor gold medal performance on the first day of Centennial Conference Outdoor Championships.

Three members of the Muhlenberg teams picked up honors in advance of the Centennial Conference Championships.

Darnell Davis April 27: Mules tune up for conference meet
Muhlenberg had some strong performances at the Lehigh Games, its last tuneup for the Centennial Conference Championships. Junior Darnell Davis (right) ran on the men's 4x100 relay team that finished first with an ECAC-qualifying time.

Samantha Mayden April 25: Mayden shatters record at Penn Relays
Senior Samantha Mayden (left) broke her own school record in the 5,000 meters at the Penn Relays, landing in third place on the NCAA Division III performance list.

Erica Bash April 20: Bash wins steeple at Moravian
In only her second time running the event, senior Erica Bash (right) won the steeplechase at Moravian's Greyhound Invitational with the second-best time in program history.

April 13: Thimmel breaks discus record
Freshman Jessica Thimmel broke the school record in the discus at The Coach P Open, one of three meets in which the Mules competed.

Five Mule individuals and one relay team posted ECAC-qualifying marks at the Muhlenberg Invitational. Junior Amber Lee Wojtkowski (right) was one of two Mule women to qualify in the 100-meter hurdles.

Jessica Thimmel March 30: Throwers excel in first outdoor meet
Freshman Jessica Thimmel (left) tied a 24-year-old school record in the discus at the Lafayette 7-Way Invitational, the first outdoor meet for the Mules. Sophomore Tyler Bauer of the men's team broke the school record in the javelin.

Jarrett Felix Jeffrey Phillips March 21: Ten named to Academic Honor Roll
Juniors Jarrett Felix (left) and Jeffrey Phillips (right) were two of 10 track and field athletes among the 18 Muhlenberg student-athletes named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the winter season.

March 9: Carnevale an All-American
Junior Stephanie Carnevale earned All-America honors by placing seventh in the 60-meter hurdles at the NCAA Championships.

Junior Stephanie Carnevale broke the school and Centennial Conference records in the 60-meter hurdles while qualifying for the final at the NCAA Championships.

Both of Muhlenberg's qualifiers for the NCAA Championships will be familiar with some of their opposition.

One individual and one relay team were invited to compete in the NCAA Division III Championships in Illinois.

The women's distance-medley relay team broke the school record and improved its chances of qualifying for the NCAA Championships in a last chance meet at Tufts.

Max Suitovsky Colette Faust February 23: Mule women tie best finish
The Muhlenberg women matched the best finish at the Centennial Conference Championships in program history, tying for second place a year after finishing seventh. Senior Colette Faust (right) won one of five silver medals for the Mules, coming in second in the high jump. Junior Max Suitovsky (left) ran on two fourth-place relay teams for the men, who came in sixth.
