Ten cross country runners, including seniors Jarrett Felix (left) and Lauren Zakheim (right), were among the 37 Muhlenberg fall athletes named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll.

November 23: Cronin 135th at NCAA meet
Senior Nicki Cronin placed 135th, the third-highest finish ever by a member of the Muhlenberg women's team, at the NCAA Championships.

Senior Nicki Cronin will become the fourth member of the Muhlenberg women's team to run in the NCAA Championships.

November 16: Both teams in top 20 in region
The Mule men came in 13th and the women 16th at the NCAA Mideast Regional. Senior Nicki Cronin finished 20th to earn all-region honors for the third year in a row.

Jaryd Flank November 2: Mule teams fifth at CC meet
Both Muhlenberg teams came in fifth at the Centennial Conference Championships. Jaryd Flank (right) was the second freshmen since 1994 to pace the Mules at the CC meet for the men, who improved their score from last year by nearly 30 points.

October 31: Championship preview
The Muhlenberg teams hope to use a pack mentality to improve upon last season's finishes against a strong field at the Centennial Conference Championships, hosted by McDaniel.

Bobby McGetrick October 19: Mule teams in top 10 in final tuneup
Both Muhlenberg teams finished in the top 10 at the Gettysburg Invitational, their final tuneup before the Centennial Conference Championships. Senior Bobby McGetrick (left) finished 34th in a field of 281 runners to help the men finish fourth. The women came in ninth.

Zach Lifman October 5: Men win Paul Short
The men's team won its second straight meet, finishing first in a 42-team field at Lehigh's Paul Short Run. Junior Zach Lifman (right) was the fifth Mule to cross the finish line. The women's race was cancelled due to excessive heat.

Stephen Sroka Claire Thornton September 21: Mules sweep meet at Cedar Crest
Muhlenberg won the team and individual titles at the Cedar Crest/Muhlenberg Invitational. Sophomore Stephen Sroka (left) was part of a 1-2-3 finish by the men, and sophomore Claire Thornton (right) was one of two runners on the women's team to place in the top 10.

August 31: Fast start for Mules at Lehigh
The Muhlenberg women finished first among Division III schools, and the men defeated three Division I opponents, at the season-opening Lehigh Invitational. Senior Nicki Cronin posted the second-highest finish by a Mule at the meet, coming in fifth.

August 16: Four seniors to captain Mules
Seniors Charlie Kline, Jarrett Felix, Nicki Cronin and Ramzy Burns will repeat as captains for the 2013 season.

Steve Finley July 18: Finley named head coach
Steve Finley (left), a high school state champion in cross country and two-time Division I All-American in track, was hired as the Mules' new head coach.
