Matt Pagano Luke Primerano September 13: Football wins big in Centennial, home opener
The Muhlenberg football team opened Centennial Conference play and its home season with an impressive 42-7 win against Franklin & Marshall. Junior Matt Pagano (left) scored his first career touchdown on a blocked punt return, and sophomore Luke Primerano (right) scored his first TD on a 29-yard pass reception.

Zach Lifman Mallory Snyder September 13: Cross country teams dominant at Cedar Crest
For the second year in a row, the Muhlenberg cross country teams swept the team an individual titles at the Cedar Crest/Muhlenberg Invitational. Senior Zach Lifman (left) made history my finishing in the top 10 at the meet for the fourth straight year, and freshman Mallory Snyder (right) was the runner-up in the women's race.

Senior Joey Roberts (left) scored in the 66th minute to give the 4-0 Muhlenberg men's soccer team a 1-0 win against Stevens.

Sarah Weyhmuller September 13: Volleyball wins three of four at Neumann
The Muhlenberg volleyball team reached 10 wins in a season in the fewest matches in 20 years after winning three of four at Neumann's Knight Invitational. Junior Sarah Weyhmuller (left) recorded nine kills in only 13 attempts in a four-set win against Moravian.

Five different players, including senior Samantha Swire (right), scored goals as the Muhlenberg field hockey team won its third in a row, 5-1 vs. Drew.

The Muhlenberg men's golf team opened the 2014-15 year by winning the championship at the Moravian Fall Invitational by nine strokes.

Jacelin Muschlitz September 11: Women's soccer ties best start
The Muhlenberg women's soccer team tied the best start in program history, improving to 5-0 with a 2-0 Centennial Conference win at Bryn Mawr. Junior Jacelin Muschlitz (right) scored an insurance goal in the 87th minute.

Travis Wantchekon September 10: Men's soccer receives votes, shuts out Moravian
After receiving votes in the Division III national poll, the Muhlenberg men's soccer team shut out local rival Moravian. Senior Travis Wantchekon (right) assisted on the last two goals of the 3-0 win.

Sara Finger September 10: Women's tennis drops close match to eight-time champs
In a contest that featured several close matches, the Muhlenberg women's tennis team lost to eight-time defending Freedom Conference champion Wilkes, 6-3. Sophomore Sara Finger (left) won at both doubles and singles.

September 9: Football receives votes in national poll
The Muhlenberg football team received 11 votes in the D3football.com poll following its season-opening shutout of Wilkes.

September 8: Two honored by Centennial Conference
Muhlenberg athletes Katherine Boll (volleyball) and senior Sierra Lenker (field hockey) were named Centennial Conference players of the week in their respective sports.

Ryan Delaney Lenny Smith September 6: Football shuts out Wilkes in opener
The Muhlenberg football team opened the season with a 34-0 shutout of Wilkes. Sophomore Ryan Delaney (left) caught a 28-yard pass for his first career touchdown, and junior Lenny Smith (right) made eight tackles in his first career start at linebacker.

Tori Gonzalez Emily Boyle September 6: Field hockey, women's soccer win 1-0
The Muhlenberg women's soccer team defeated Gwynedd Mercy, 1-0, for their third shutout in four games. Sophomore Tori Gonzalez (left) made a pair of saves to record her first career shutout. Sophomore Emily Boyle (right) scored the lone goal in the field hockey team's 1-0 shutout of Elizabethtown.

Chelsea Kaser September 5: Volleyball breezes in Buttermaker
The Muhlenberg volleyball team won easily against FDU-Florham and Rutgers-Camden to advance into the championship bracket of the Buttermaker Tournament. Junior Chelsea Kaser (right) had 11 digs and 4 aces in the FDU-Florham match.

Danny Pinto September 3: Men's soccer breaks out in second half
The Muhlenberg men's soccer team scored all of its goals in the second half of a 4-0 win against Wilkes. Senior Danny Pinto (right) made one save to record the shutout and also assisted on the final goal.
